Welcome to my Basic Book Publishing L.L.C. website. It is an honor to have you as a guest. It is also my pleasure to share with you a little about myself as well as an overview of my business.

I started self-publishing in 2014. To date, I have written eight books. Two of my most recent books have won the prestigious Henri Award for best author in the Christian Fiction category, and an earlier book project won the Reader's Choice Award.

I have always loved to read, and I have always been drawn to the literary electives for as long as I can remember. My passion for writing became especially evident in 1995 following a dream. The dream showcased an oracle that indicated I would become an author. I thought the manifestation of this prophesy would be immediate. However, it would be another 17 years before I received further instructions that would highlight how I would begin. In the meantime, I attended Troy State University in Montgomery, AL., and later transferred to Faulkner Christian University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. I continued my higher education and received a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and Management. I began writing my first book (a memoir) in 2012. My passion for writing caught fire, and I have been fueling the flames ever since.

In 2016, I was strongly led to start my own publishing company. I didn’t want it to be like other companies. I wanted to focus on authors and writers who would not be able to publish their work due to financial hindrances. I was intentional about pricing my services in a way that would give authors an affordable opportunity to make their dreams come true. It never ceases to fill my heart with joy each time I help someone’s goal and vision of becoming a published author come to life.
